ThingMatch connects people who use the same product.

Many products have shortcomings and problems that cause everyday people difficulties large and small on a daily basis. Some of these can even threaten health and safety.

Ralph Nader failed to institute a continuing model for product watchdogging. Big companies have tended toward customer responsiveness but this is inhibited by the inherent profit model.

The Food and Drug Administration and other regulation agencies do not have the resources to monitor products sufficiently and satisfactorily.

So the obvious question is whether there can be an effective check on product offerings to represent and maximize the consumer interest.

Many consumer stories illustrate cold and inefficient customer service systems, policies, and people-that is a primary problem.  But it is also the case that consumers themselves can add to the problem.  This is especially easy when a consumer becomes frustrated and emotional after having been treated badly and unfairly.
